Mississauga, ON (5 November, 2021) ---
In accordance with the Special Investigations Unit’s name release policy, requiring consent from next of kin in death cases, the Unit is now able to identify Shellome Peart as the woman who died following a collision with a driver who was fleeing police in Brampton early this morning. • The vehicle was then involved in a collision with another vehicle, driven by the woman, at Sandalwood Parkway East and Dixie Road.
  • A man and woman were taken to hospital. The woman died in hospital.
  • The man remains in hospital with serious injuries.
