Shortly after midnight on June 24, 2017, police officers were dispatched to the area of King Street West and Bay Street North in relation to an assault which had taken place at a restaurant. A man of interest was located a short distance away, and as a result of an interaction with officers, the man fell forward and struck his face on a wall. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Director Loparco said, “The man did not sustain a serious injury, and as such, this investigation has been terminated.”
